There’s dogs, seals, owls & ghosts in the bedroom. It’s safe-they are all pretend. Best listen for the dawn chorus – cows, hens, roosters, guinea fowl, crows, kookaburras, parrots – not cars.”

“ It was nice to hear from you. If you can believe it, I am "homesick" for
your beautiful country. I think about Australia, and especially Tasmania,
all the time. The highlight of our holiday was the time spent at your farm
when we visited beautiful Cradle Mt. National Park. The weather could not
have been lovelier, and those stars at night were like searchlights in black
velvet. You know the Milky Way as
seen
'down under' is much more dramatic than that seen 'up over'. I want to
return!”
